Hello and a warm welcome! My name is Kailee McCown, a passionate pediatric occupational therapist dedicated to helping children, in their home environment and community, thrive through individualized therapeutic interventions.
With 6 years of experience in the field, I am committed to empowering children and their families to overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential. I created Enlightened OT, LLC so I can provide the best care possible. I hope to work with you soon! <3

My journey into pediatric occupational therapy began with a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on young lives. Graduating in 2018 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy at A.T. Still University, I embarked on a career that blends science, empathy, and creativity to address "What Matters to You and your Family".

Working in the school setting for 5 years, I am happily 1.5 years into working with families in their home.

- Fine Motor Skills Development: Enhancing hand-eye coordination, handwriting, and other fine motor skills crucial for academic and daily living tasks.
- Gross Motor Skills Training: Promoting balance, coordination, and physical confidence through targeted exercises and activities.
- Self-Care Skills Training: Fostering independence in activities of daily living such as dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines.
- Parent and Caregiver Education: Equipping families with strategies and resources to support their child’s progress outside of therapy sessions.
